On Monday 26 January 2015 at 14:00, we will be implementing the simplified sign-on for both LiveCampus and Campus Computers. This means that you will use the same username and password to login to both LiveCampus and the Campus Computers!
From Monday 26 January 2015 14:00, your existing computer password will become your new LiveCampus password.
How to get help during the first week of implementation?
During this first week, an IT Helpdesk will be available on the Second Floor – near to the Research Centre where users who have forgotten their Computer passwords can come to reset their accounts. You can also contact us by sending an email requesting your account to be reset from your registered University email address to email@example.com.
What is the normal ‘forgot password’ procedure?
- Users who have already completed the Security Questions for Password Services on the TechGuru ServiceDesk will be able to reset their accounts themselves on any on-campus computer. If you have not yet completed these, please follow these instructions from any campus computer at your earliest convenience to enable you to use the Self Help Password Services.
- You can also contact us by sending an email requesting your account to be reset from your registered University email address to firstname.lastname@example.org or visiting the London Campus Reception to help you login to LiveCampus.
Please note this change will not have any effect on your MySunderland account (University Email, JIRA, eVision). Your MySunderland username and password will remain as usual.
